2 Installation

2.1 Camera Installation (Optional)

Select a suitable location to mount the camera. After verifying the viewing angle, please secure it with screws.

Note: Ensure the camera cable connectors are securely tightened.

3 Interface Description

3.1 Main Interface

Speed Dial: Displays the real-time speed of the motorcycle.

Compass: Displays real-time heading; tap to view GPS information.

Tire Pressure Dial: Displays real-time tire pressure.

Bluetooth Icon: Indicates Bluetooth connection status.

GPS Icon: Indicates GPS signal status.

Wi-Fi Icon: Indicates Wi-Fi connection status.

CarLink: For wireless CarPlay & Android Auto; use the Viidure app for video viewing.

Auto Brightness Adjustment: Toggles between automatic and manual brightness adjustment.

BMW Protocol Dial: Tap to view specific vehicle data.

Settings: Tap to access system settings.

Camera: Access dual-camera video recording.

3.2 Video Recording Interface

Record Button: Start/Stop recording.

Lock Button: Manually lock current file.

Snapshot Button: Take photo.

Playback Button: Tap to enter the playback interface.

Microphone Button: Mute/Unmute audio.

Switch View Button: Toggle between front and rear camera views.

Home Button: Tap to return to the main interface.

3.3 Playback Interface

The playback interface allows you to view recordings from both the front and rear cameras; tap to switch views.

4 Smart Connectivity (CarLink)

4.1 Apple CarPlay

Tap the [CarPlay] button on the main menu.
Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your iPhone.
Search for the Bluetooth device named F9XBMW_xxxxxxx and pair with it.
Once the Bluetooth connection is successful, Apple CarPlay will launch automatically.

Note: The device will automatically reconnect to the last paired phone when powered on.

Note: Apple CarPlay is compatible with iPhones only. To disconnect, please turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in your phone settings.

4.2 Android Auto

Tap the [Android Auto] button on the main menu.
Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your Android phone.
Search for the Bluetooth device named F9XBMW_xxxxxxx and pair with it.
Once paired, Android Auto will launch automatically.

Note: The device automatically reconnects to the last paired phone upon startup.

Note: Wireless Android Auto is supported on compatible Android phones only. To disconnect, please disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in your phone settings.

4.3 Viidure App

Scan the QR code or search for "Viidure" on the App Store or Google Play Store to install. Use the app to view video recordings directly on your mobile phone.

4.4 Bluetooth Audio

Connect your Bluetooth headset directly to your mobile phone. Enjoy your ride with music.

5 Settings & Configuration

5.1 System Settings Menu

Tap the [Settings] button on the Home Screen to enter the settings interface.

Recording Time	Set video clip duration (Loop Recording).
Audio	Enable/Disable microphone for video recording.
Assistive Button	Toggle the floating home button for CarPlay/Android Auto.
Rear Mirror	Displays the rear camera view as a mirror image.
Screensaver	Tap to set the screen saver timeout.
Auto Brightness	Toggle Auto-Brightness and set min/max limits.
Tire Pressure	Set tire pressure monitoring thresholds.
Time Setting	Configure date, time, and time zone.
Language	Select system language.
Speed Unit	Toggle between KM/H and MPH.
Reset Connections	Tap to clear connection history (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CarPlay/Android Auto).
Format SD Card	Tap to format the memory card. (Warning: All data will be erased).
Factory Reset	Tap to restore the device to factory default settings.
Firmware Version	Displays current firmware version and system information.

5.2 Auto-Brightness Settings

This menu allows you to enable or disable automatic brightness and define its operating range.

Enable: Turn automatic brightness ON or OFF.

Brightness Range: Drag the left slider to set the minimum brightness, and the right slider to set the maximum brightness.

Note: When Auto-Brightness is enabled, manual brightness adjustment is disabled. Settings are saved automatically; tap the [Back] icon to exit.

6 BMW Integration Features

6.1 BMW Protocol Data

Access real-time vehicle data via the BMW protocol, including: engine temperature, ambient temperature, total mileage (ODO), range, maintenance mileage, maintenance date, gear, RPM, lean angle, tire pressure, battery voltage, brake light status, turn signal status, and Wonder Wheel inputs.

6.2 Wonder Wheel Control

1. Activation

Long press the [Menu Up] button for 3 seconds to switch Wonder Wheel control from the BMW system to this device.

Short press the [Menu Down] button to exit and return control to the BMW system.

2. Main Interface Navigation

On Main Interface: Push the Wonder Wheel Left or Right to switch between display pages. Scroll Up or Down to select icons on the bottom dock.

3. Confirmation

Press the Turn Signal Cancel Button to confirm and enter the selected feature on the dock.

4. Menu Navigation

On Menu Interfaces: Scroll the Wonder Wheel Up or Down to navigate through options. Push Left to go back or exit, and push Right to confirm.

Shortcut: Long press Left or Right for 3 seconds to toggle between the Main Interface and CarPlay/Android Auto.

6.3 TPMS Setup (Optional)

If your BMW motorcycle is not equipped with factory TPMS, you can purchase our optional TPMS kit.

Pairing Instructions:

Install the tire pressure sensors onto the valve stems.
Tap the corresponding tire position on the screen to pair.

Note: Please pair one sensor at a time to avoid errors.

6.4 FAQ (Troubleshooting)

1	Touchscreen Unresponsive	① Wait for Boot-up: The touchscreen may not respond immediately upon startup. Please wait for the system to fully load before operating. ② Physical Inspection: Check the screen for physical damage. Do not use sharp objects on the display to prevent scratches and damage.
2	Overheating or System Lag	① Thermal Protection: The device features automatic overheat protection. If the temperature gets too high, it will automatically shut down to prevent damage. Allow it to cool down before resuming use.
3	Apple CarPlay Connection Failure	① First Connection: Initial pairing may take longer than usual. ② Compatibility: Supports iPhones only. ③ Settings Check: Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone. ④ Reset Pairing: On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > CarPlay, select the device, and tap "Forget This Car," then reconnect. ⑤ Restart: Restart your iPhone and try again.
4	Android Auto Connection Failure	① Compatibility: Supports Android phones only. ② App Update: Ensure the Android Auto app and Google services are updated to the latest version. ③ VPN Check: Disable any VPN connections on your phone during screen casting. ④ Restart: Restart your Android phone and try again.
5	BMW Data Not Displayed / Wonder Wheel Issue	① Check Contacts: Ensure the gold pins on the charging cradle are clean and not corroded/oxidized. Wipe them with a clean cloth. ② Stock ECU Required: This device is designed for the original BMW ECU. Motorcycles with tuned or remapped ECUs may not display data correctly. ③ BMW Software Update: If the Wonder Wheel does not respond, your motorcycle's internal software may need updating. Please contact a BMW dealer to update the TFT/Navigation Prep software.
